Hello everyone!
My name is Joel - or Robert depending on who you ask - and this is my travel blog!
I am an Education Student from Brisbane, Australia, with a lot of dangerous ideas and a brain you could cut smog with. It often does. I am a pathological gamer and keenly interested in the uncomfortable truths of life, the universe, and everything.
This blog will serve as a delicious taste and sharing of the misadventures I intend to have over the next year and beyond, as I leave for Tangshan, China in a little over four weeks. I will teach classes of hopefully) delightful little Chinese anklebiters (3-6 year olds) for a semester, before leaving for Los Angeles in the new year to study for a semester at California State University.
So saddle up and hold on for the ride, because in the words of Sir Leigh Teabing, the next few months/years will be 'anything but dull.'
